📍 Zealand, Denmark Artifact ~500 AD
Skofnung

Skofnung was the legendary sword wielded by Hrólf Kraki, a Danish king celebrated in medieval Icelandic literature. Known in Old Norse as Skǫfnungr, the weapon was said to possess extraordinary qualities. The Hrólfs saga kraka heralded it as the finest sword ever carried in the Nordic regions, praising its supernatural cutting edge and exceptional durability. According to legend, the blade drew power from the spirits of twelve berserker warriors who had served as the king's loyal guardians.
