Lost Pyramid of Punay is a folklore legend from Chunchi Canton, Ecuador, dated to ~2400 BC (Prehistoric era).

Quechua legend talks of a list pyramid located here. This mysterious site is said to have contained gold relics, and tales of its loot has lured achaeologists and grave robbers searching for gold. It's structure and contents have been debated, and some academics claim that it may have been built in the form of the macaw, a sacred bird. Today, the site is tourist attraction, drawing visitors in with the tales of the lost pyramid.
